I Can Articulate Software Requirements - iOS 5.1
Hardware Supported - Any device capable of running iOS 5.1.
Security Encryption
- Device - When utilizing a password on the iPad, iPhone, or iPod, all application data is encrypted via hardware encryption.
- iCloud - Data is secured with your iCloud username and password. (further info can be found on the Apple website under Article: HT4865)
- Transmission - When transmitting student data during the iCloud backup, the data is transmitted via SSL. The same type of encryption used during online banking transaction or purchase completed over the Internet.
- Storage - After backed up, Apple encrypts all iCloud documents.
- Application - The I Can Articulate application is secured with a username and password that is known only to the person who created the password. Should you lose the account information, we have no ability to recover your lost account information.
Sharing Data between devices - When utilizing iCloud to back up your data, you can access it from any other iOS devices running iOS 5.1 with a network connection via Wi-Fi or Cellular data. Any newly created data will be backed up to iCloud and then downloaded across all other iOS devices when launching I Can Articulate.
Data Backup - Student and Instructor data is backed up to iCloud automatically. I Can Articulate automatically attempts to back up the data to iCloud when connected to the Internet.
Data Recovery - To recover Student and Instructor data that was previously created and needs to be restored, simply install the I Can Articulate application and launch the application while connected to the Internet.
